Organizing, prepping, and mixing audio for John Brown University live music and speaking events since freshman year. Mixing in different acoustic environments, and on several different consoles including the Yamaha M7CL, QL1, PM7, and DM7. As a result of my work, artists and speakers are comfortable and secure that their performance will be presented exactly as intended.

Summer apprenticeship serving Red Barn Studio through coordinating client relationships and assisting in production needs. Activities included planning and oversight of Johnson Square summer concert series, weekly meetings with Red Barn and clients, production support for on-site projects, and community engagement/outreach. Primarily mixed on the PreSonus StudioLive 32SX. Red Barn Studio was a wonderful opportunity where I not only grew in my knowledge of audio, but also my ability to creatively problem solve, analyze business and communication strategies, and grow in my knowledge and execution of event workflow.

Set up and tear down sound system every Sunday. Trouble shooting issues related to power distribution, allocation of equipment, and collaborating with the worship director to clean up backing tracks. In this roll I am working with amateur musicians and performers so I communicate clearly and effectively to make sure the service goes on without a hitch.

Was involved in all aspects of the reinforcement process. Involved running and verifying lines, utilizing audio tools to attain the best sound, and mixing for a natural feel. Mixed primarily on the Behringer X32. Learned troubleshooting, communication, and how to mix to a specific room or congregation.
